The name Silt & Sand is a small declaration of love to the nature of our island and the beautiful region.
“Silt” stands for the fine silt that gently settles on the seabed - quiet, soft and full of life.
We all know “sand”: sometimes warm underfoot, sometimes blown by the wind, always present on Langeoog's beach.
Together, Silt & Sand tell the story of what makes the island what it is: the constant change between high and low tide, between softness and structure, between sea and land.
The name reflects the special atmosphere of our place - natural, honest and with a touch of North Sea magic.

Only our LOFT category does not have a fridge.
